A Nigerian lady has stirred outrage online after recounting a frightening experience she allegedly faced at a local international airport shortly after returning from abroad.
What began as a normal arrival quickly turned tense when unfamiliar men approached her, claiming they recognised her from social media.
According to her account, the situation escalated after her driver arrived and appeared to be familiar with the men.
She said one of them insisted on helping with her luggage, which she declined, suspecting foul play.
Trouble began when she attempted to enter the car and one man allegedly grabbed her handbag, demanding money.
She revealed that although she offered ₦5,000 to calm the situation, the men rejected naira and demanded foreign currency instead.
They reportedly took Chinese yuan and Mauritian rupees from her bag before allowing her to leave.
Her story has triggered widespread reactions, with many Nigerians sharing similar airport harassment experiences.
