Former Big Brother Naija housemate Doyin David has urged contestants preparing for Season 11 of the reality show to embrace boldness, warning them against playing safe when the competition begins on July 26, 2026.
Speaking at the BBNaija Season 11 pre-show media launch in Lagos, Doyin encouraged the incoming housemates to express themselves freely without worrying about public criticism.
She advised them not to become “a piece of furniture” in the house, insisting they should speak their minds and accept the consequences of their actions afterwards.
Doyin also stressed the importance of emotional independence, noting that contestants may not always have friends in the house and should learn to enjoy their own company without feeling depressed.
Organisers confirmed that the new season will premiere on July 26 and will feature a record-breaking grand prize of ₦160 million, including ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV for the eventual winner.
