A Nigerian woman has sparked social media conversations after calling out the unfair trend of targeting innocent family members over romantic disputes.
In a viral video, she questioned why aggrieved partners drag siblings into heartbreaks they had no part in.
Addressing the issue, she said: “She na me follow you? Na me toast you? I just be sister o. When you dey eat Shawarma, you give me?”
She urged people to confront only the person responsible for the pain and not extend anger or curses to relatives.
The woman emphasised that transferring emotional suffering to others is misplaced and unjust.
Social media users quickly backed her, with many agreeing that accountability should remain with the person directly involved in the relationship.
The video has since gone viral, reigniting discussions on boundaries and fairness in romantic conflicts.
