Big Brother Naija winner Mercy Eke has revealed that she and former rival Tacha have moved beyond their long-running reality show feud, saying she prefers to form her own opinions about people rather than rely on public perception.
Speaking on Toke Makinwa’s podcast, Mercy disclosed that while their fans were fiercely defending them online during the aftermath of the BBNaija “Pepper Dem” season, the two reality stars were already embracing each other whenever they met in public.
“Tacha and I have gone past the Big Brother saga,” she said, adding, “I like to experience people myself even if you tell me someone is a bad person.”
Mercy’s comments come years after their infamous clash in the BBNaija house, which led to Tacha’s disqualification and Mercy’s eventual victory.
The pair later reconciled and have since been seen together at several public events, signalling that their once-public rivalry has been put behind them.
