Nigerian businessman and crypto entrepreneur BLord has stirred widespread reactions after declaring that he would not allow his sister to marry a man who is not financially established, insisting that marriage requires adequate preparation and responsibility.
Speaking during an interview at his residence, BLord said he would reject any suitor whose financial status was unstable, using the Point of Sale (POS) business as an example to explain his position.
While acknowledging that marriage outcomes differ, he said there is no guaranteed formula for a successful union, noting that some women marry struggling men who later abandon them after becoming wealthy.
He encouraged men to build financial stability before getting married because of family responsibilities, including paying school fees. BLord also revealed that he currently sponsors the education of several children despite their parents being alive.
Advising women, he urged them to choose partners they would be proud to see reflected in their future children.
