Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has called on Nigerian youths to resist being used as tools for political violence ahead of the 2027 general elections, in a video circulating online.

He criticised poor infrastructure, insecurity and governance challenges, questioning why young people should be mobilised to fight one another on behalf of politicians.

Zubby, in a passionate message, said those encouraging violence would not expose their own children to such risks, insisting that youths must reject manipulation.

He added that the real struggle is against injustice, kidnapping, corruption, insecurity and bad governance, stressing: ‘The war is not youth against youth, it is youth against injustice and bad governance.’

He urged young Nigerians to channel their energy toward demanding accountability and positive change rather than engaging in political conflicts ahead of the polls.

He further lamented the country’s hardship, referencing power and road challenges while warning against being used as expendable political weapons
