A public spat between former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu has intensified, with both men exchanging sharp personal attacks over political differences and long-standing grievances.
The latest round of the feud unfolded on Thursday after Fani-Kayode responded to remarks attributed to Momodu, launching a blistering attack on the veteran journalist via his Facebook page.
In a strongly worded post, Fani-Kayode dismissed Momodu as “a pimp” and a “sidekick” to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, while also questioning his relevance and personal attributes.

“You called me a pig yet look at yourself in the mirror and tell me who looks more like a pig between you and I. Your profound ugliness, fat stomach, and lack of good breeding is your greatest torment. You were nothing, you are nothing, and you will never be anything but Atiku’s sidekick,” he wrote.
He also sought to frame his own position within the current political landscape, referencing ongoing diplomatic engagements by President Bola Tinubu in the United Kingdom as a sign of his continued proximity to power.
Momodu, however, fired back in equally scathing terms on his X account, portraying Fani-Kayode as a man unable to manage influence or personal conduct despite his privileged background.
“Femi is a classic case of a wasted investment… an outright and incurable thug,” Momodu wrote, referencing his rival’s elite education.
“For Femi, it is a fulfillment of a long-expected appointment… Femi without power is like fish out of water. It is such a pity that now that Tinubu has finally looked at his side, with mercy and compassion, he is still busy fighting, like a pig, instead of seeking urgent rehabilitation into the comity of sane human beings.”
