The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced its petrol price for the third time in December 2025.

A survey of filling stations in Abuja on Thursday revealed that NNPCL now sells petrol at N835 per liter, down from the previous N915, representing an N80 reduction.

The price adjustment follows similar reductions by MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, which recently reviewed their pump prices to between N739 and N865 per liter in the capital.

According to DAILY POST, the latest cuts by NNPCL and other stations come after Dangote Refinery and depot owners lowered their ex-depot prices to a range of N699 to N800.

NNPCL and other filling stations had earlier reduced fuel prices on December 4 and December 10, 2025, marking the third adjustment this month.
