A student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has sparked outrage online after announcing his decision to quit the institution, claiming a lecturer confiscated and discarded his ₦500,000 earring.
The student, identified on TikTok as @dipsin1, shared a viral video where he angrily accused the lecturer of collecting the expensive earring and throwing it away.
He was seen tearing his student ID card while declaring that he would no longer attend the university.
In the emotional clip, the student warned prospective applicants against choosing FUNAAB, describing the incident as humiliating and unacceptable.
He said he searched for the earring but could not find it. The video has since attracted massive reactions online, with social media users divided between sympathy and criticism over his response.
