Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has paid an emotional tribute to his late friend, Alex Ekubo, sharing cherished memories of their friendship and promising that the deceased would forever remain a part of their lives.
Posting a heartfelt video on Instagram, IK described their bond as one built on God, love, laughter, dreams and family, before bidding the late actor farewell with a touching message.
“It was all God. It was all love. It was all laughter. It was all dreams. It was all family. You will forever remain a part of us. Rest on, Eku,” he wrote.
The tribute comes weeks after IK admitted he was still struggling to come to terms with Ekubo’s death, saying the loss had left him questioning life.
Alex Ekubo reportedly died in May after battling cancer and was laid to rest in June, with colleagues and close friends attending the emotional funeral ceremony.
