A Nigerian man has gone viral after sharing how a failed relationship pushed him into livestock farming instead of sponsoring his girlfriend’s education.
According to the man, the incident happened in 2021 after his girlfriend gained admission into school and requested financial support for her studies. He said she estimated the total expenses at about ₦400,000, but he could only afford ₦80,000 at the time.
The man explained that after revealing the amount he had, his girlfriend allegedly called him wicked and broke before ending the relationship. Rather than borrowing money or struggling to meet the demand, he decided to invest the ₦80,000 in purchasing two goats.
Years later, he proudly shared his progress online, suggesting that the livestock business turned out to be a profitable decision.
His story has since sparked conversations on social media about relationships, financial expectations, investment choices, and the importance of building wealth gradually despite personal disappointments and emotional setbacks.
