Popular Nollywood actors Frederick Leonard and Peggy Ovire are reportedly no longer together, following renewed claims about the state of their marriage.

The couple, who held their traditional wedding on November 19, 2022, in Warri, Delta State, have been the subject of separation rumours for months.

The latest speculation was sparked by a social media post from veteran movie producer Stanley Ontop, who alleged that the actors have been apart for a long time.

He further claimed that the marriage was forced and marked by frequent conflict, suggesting that the union had collapsed long before recent reports surfaced.

Rumours of a rift between the couple first emerged in 2023 after Peggy Ovire was seen publicly without her wedding ring.

At the time, Frederick Leonard dismissed the claims, stating that their marriage was private and not open to public commentary.
