A Nigerian woman, Aanuoluwapo Ade-Alao, has stirred widespread reactions after sharing her candid experience of having children in quick succession despite earlier criticism of such situations.
In a post on Facebook, she admitted she once frowned at women who had back-to-back pregnancies, describing it as unnecessary and avoidable.
However, her perspective changed after she unexpectedly conceived again shortly after welcoming her first child, despite plans to delay childbirth for several years.
She recounted the emotional and physical toll of raising two infants, describing the period as exhausting but ultimately rewarding.
According to her, the experience reshaped her outlook on motherhood and judgment.
Reflecting on her journey, she cautioned against criticising others’ life choices, noting that circumstances can change unexpectedly.
Her story has since resonated online, with many sharing similar experiences and lessons on empathy and personal growth.
