Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has responded to social media users mocking her over her perceived single status, insisting she would rather remain single than settle for an unhappy relationship.
In a series of Instagram Story posts, the actress said she was enjoying her life and refused to be pressured by online opinions, adding that people wrongly assume she is single simply because she no longer shares her relationship online.
Nkechi stated that she deliberately keeps her private life off social media to avoid unwanted attention, claiming some people’s favourite celebrities are already in her direct messages.
She also declared that she would not reveal any relationship publicly again, maintaining that she prefers peace away from the spotlight.
Her comments come after she recently advised women against financially carrying men in relationships and reiterated that she has no regrets about ending previous romances, including her last public relationship with entertainer Xxssive.
