Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has revealed that she underwent a medical procedure 26 years ago to prevent further pregnancies, citing her personal choice to have a smaller family.
Speaking on her YouTube platform, Shaffy Bello TV, the actress explained that she decided to tie her fallopian tubes despite her former husband’s desire for more children.
She said she was certain about her decision and wanted to maintain control over her family size.
According to her, the procedure was carried out through her navel, effectively stopping the release of eggs required for conception.
Reflecting on the experience, she maintained that she has no regrets about the decision.
Bello added humorously that if she ever becomes pregnant again, she would consider it miraculous.
