Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has expressed deep concern over the country’s worsening insecurity, warning Nigerians against becoming emotionally numb to the suffering around them.
In a heartfelt message shared online, the actor reflected on the harsh realities faced by displaced families, especially children forced to sleep in forests due to violence and fear.
He described the pain of helpless parents and mothers struggling to protect their children while communities continue to live in uncertainty.
Kunle Remi also questioned why political campaigns and election activities are progressing as usual despite the tragedies affecting many citizens across the country.
According to him, society is gradually becoming too comfortable with violence and heartbreak.
He wrote, “As you go to bed tonight, remember there are children sleeping in forests. May we never become so used to tragedy that we stop feeling it.”
His emotional message has sparked reactions across social media.
