The Police Service Commission (PSC), in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force, has officially launched the recruitment of 50,000 police constables, following approval from President Bola Tinubu.
The initiative aims to strengthen community policing, boost internal security, and expand the manpower of the Nigerian Police Force.
According to the PSC, the online application portal will open on December 15, 2025, and close on January 25, 2026.
Applicants for the General Duty cadre must have at least five credits in GCE, SSCE, or NECO, including English and Mathematics, while Specialist candidates require a minimum of four credits plus three years of relevant experience.
Eligible candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth, with age limits set at 18–25 for General Duty and 18–28 for Specialists.
Minimum height requirements also apply, and all submissions must be made online via the official recruitment portal.
