Veteran Nollywood actor Ricardo Agbor has revealed that he and his wife waited 18 years before becoming parents, saying faith and patience eventually rewarded them with twins.

Speaking in an interview with AfricanAList, Agbor recalled remaining committed to his wife throughout their long struggle with childlessness despite the challenges they faced.

He said he specifically prayed to God for twins and refused to abandon hope, adding that his prayers were answered with the birth of a boy and a girl, who are now 14 years old.

The actor also reflected on one of the darkest moments of his life, recounting how his mother died in his arms after weeks of unsuccessful treatment.

According to him, doctors had advised that she be flown to South Africa, but she requested another hospital in Surulere before passing away as he helped her into the car.

Agbor described the experience as the first time he genuinely cried outside acting.
