Fresh controversy is brewing in Nigeria’s music scene following an alleged altercation involving Burna Boy, members of his entourage, and DJ Tunez at Obi’s house in Lagos.

The incident came into the spotlight after a video surfaced online capturing a tense moment at the popular nightlife spot.

The clip, now widely circulated on social media, is believed to show Burna Boy and his team in a confrontation with DJ Tunez, Wizkid’s official disc jockey.

Although the cause of the dispute remains unclear, the footage has triggered heated reactions among fans.

DJ Tunez soon broke his silence on X (formerly Twitter), alleging he was attacked unexpectedly from behind.

“FIRST OFF… YOU HIT ME IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD WITHOUT ME LOOKING! THAT’S SOME SUCKA SHIT MY BOY!” he wrote.

His post quickly went viral, further amplifying the situation online. As discussions intensified, another video began trending, showing Burna Boy dancing with a towel, adding a new dimension to the unfolding drama.

Wizkid later entered the conversation with a strongly worded post that appeared to target Burna Boy directly. Reacting to both the reported altercation and the viral clip, the singer’s remarks drew mixed responses across social media.

“Pussy nigga jump a DJ with 10 man carry diddy towel dey dance. I never see fool like this diddy babe for my life,” he wrote.

The comment has since deepened the controversy, drawing widespread attention due to Wizkid’s typically reserved public persona.

As of the time of this report, Burna Boy has not responded to either DJ Tunez’s allegation or Wizkid’s remarks.

Wizkid, born Ayodeji Balogun, is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most successful global music exports, known for his calm demeanour and limited involvement in public spats.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, is equally a dominant force on the international stage, celebrated for his distinct sound and outspoken personality, as well as major accolades including Grammy recognition.

Both artistes share a history of successful collaborations, including Ginger from Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album and Ballon d’Or, tracks that showcased their creative synergy—making the current tension a surprising development for fans and industry observers alike.
