A Nigerian candidate has gone viral after sharing her 2026 UTME result, revealing an impressive aggregate score that left her in shock.
The student, known on X as @only_rechael, admitted she was initially too anxious to check her result after sitting for the exam conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Upon checking, she recorded 75 in Physics, 51 in English, and a remarkable 97 in Chemistry, bringing her total to 283. Despite her success, she expressed mixed emotions, noting that a close friend who studied more intensely scored 203 and was deeply upset.
Her post has sparked conversations online about exam performance, preparation, and fairness.
Meanwhile, the 2026 UTME, which began on April 16, continues nationwide with over 2.2 million candidates participating.
Authorities have also addressed security concerns following reports of an abduction incident linked to exam-related travel.
