Fear has gripped residents of Rukubi community in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State after a local source, identified as D English Alhaji, confirmed that several students were taken during an attack on Peter’s Foundation Secondary School.

Panic spread quickly as parents rushed to the school in search of their children, following reports that armed men had stormed the premises. Witnesses described scenes of confusion as families struggled to determine who had been abducted.

Earlier accounts indicated that the attackers struck while students were still within the school compound, whisking away an unspecified number of them before fleeing the area.

However, the exact number of abducted students remains unknown as authorities attempt to verify the situation.

Community members say the incident highlights the persistent insecurity affecting parts of Nasarawa, adding that the absence of official communication from security agencies has worsened the tension.

As of the time of filing this report, security operatives have yet to issue a formal statement, leaving distressed families waiting for clarity and government intervention.
