Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has emphasised that his administration remains fully focused on state development rather than speculation about the 2027 elections.
Speaking during a church service at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuikaa District, Isialangwa South LGA, Otti assured residents that distractions over political noise will not deter his government’s agenda.
“I am not bothered about 2027, as the God that settled 2023 would equally settle 2027,” he said.
The governor also addressed ongoing infrastructure projects, apologising for dust and inconvenience around the Umuikaa–Owerrinta road due to dualisation works.
He explained that federal approval facilitated the rehabilitation and highlighted similar efforts on the Onuimo–Tower Road to ensure the state presents a distinct identity to visitors.
Otti urged citizens to focus on development progress, asserting that his administration’s priority is tangible improvements in Abia rather than electioneering.
