Nigerian singer Naetochukwu Chikwe, popularly known as Naeto C, has revealed why his music career has remained on hold, saying that every attempt to return to the studio is met with unexpected disruptions.
In an interview on BEAT FM, the “10/10” hitmaker said he paused music to focus on his personal life and future.
“I got married in 2012 and had my first child in 2013. Looking back, I realised I wouldn’t achieve the life I wanted if I continued focusing solely on music,” he explained.
Naeto C said he originally pursued music out of passion rather than ambition, noting that his talent simply resonated with fans.
The rapper described a recurring pattern: whenever he plans a comeback, something “crazy” happens that makes him question whether he should continue.
Yet, fans constantly remind him of his impact, creating a push-and-pull between his love for music and life’s interruptions.
