Toyin Abraham has reached a major landmark in her Nollywood career as her latest film, Oversabi Aunty, has officially crossed the N1 billion mark at the Nigerian box office.
The box office performance makes it the first time the actress and producer has achieved a billion-naira gross, with the movie now ranking as the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time.
Released in December 2025, the film has also made history as the first directorial debut in Nollywood to generate over ₦1 billion in cinema revenue.

FilmOne, the distributor of the movie, hailed the achievement as a defining moment for the Nigerian film industry, noting the commercial impact of the project and its reception by audiences nationwide.
In response to the milestone, Abraham expressed gratitude to her fans, colleagues, and partners, acknowledging the role of Nigerians and the production team in the film’s success.
