The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Soludo the winner of the governorship election, having secured 422,664 votes to earn a second term in office.

“Governor of Anambra State, as a proud son of Anambra, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, on his well-deserved re-election as the governor of our beloved state,” he wrote.

“This victory is a clear reflection of the confidence our people have in your leadership, vision, and the remarkable work you have already begun. Ndi Anambra spoke once again — acknowledging a performer and trusting you to continue the transformational journey you have set in motion.

“Your re-election presents yet another opportunity to deepen progress, strengthen institutions, and deliver even greater development across every community in Anambra State. We look forward to seeing more innovation, more empowerment, and more growth that will further position Anambra as the true light of the nation.

“As brothers committed to the advancement of our homeland, we assure you of our support and continued collaboration toward a greater, safer, and more prosperous Anambra. The vision is clear, the support is real, the expectations are very high!

“May God grant you wisdom, strength, and divine favour as you continue to serve our people. Congratulations once again, Your Excellency Ọluatuegwu 1! @ccsoludo.”
