American singer and TV personality Tamar Braxton has sparked fresh conversations online after openly expressing her desire to be married.

In a recent interview, the 48-year-old star dismissed public assumptions about her love life, stressing that she is not a “street walker” but a woman who wants commitment.

“I am a wife… I’m upset I’m still in the street. What’s going on?” she said, blending humour with frustration.

Braxton explained that her single status is not by choice but because she refuses to settle for less than she deserves.

Jokingly, she added that she needs “premium” and not “regular unleaded,” suggesting she is waiting for the right man.

The award-winning singer also revealed that she values meaningful relationships and has previously chosen celibacy to protect her peace and her son.

Her honesty has since triggered mixed reactions across social media.
