Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has expressed deep frustration over the worsening state of the nation, describing Nigeria’s situation as “depressing.”
He said it is disheartening to see Nigerians turn against one another over tribal and religious differences while politicians exploit these divides for personal gain.
Falz stressed that real change will only come when citizens think critically and act collectively to hold leaders accountable.
The musician highlighted the importance of unity and national interest over tribal or religious affiliations, warning that divisions only hinder progress and deepen social inequality.
Falz also called for Nigerians to demand accountability from political leaders instead of allowing them to manipulate public sentiment.
He argued that citizens need to rise above rhetoric and focus on constructive actions to improve governance and societal well-being.
Lot of Nigerians praised him for speaking out on issues affecting national cohesion and governance.
Falz made the comments while reacting to a post by fellow entertainer Nasboi, who urged Nigerians to put aside differences and collectively hold leaders responsible for the country’s challenges.
