The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its leadership structure with the emergence of a new set of national officers at its 4th Elective National Convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Nentawe Yilwatda was returned as the party’s National Chairman, while Surajudeen Basiru emerged as National Secretary, following a consensus arrangement adopted by party stakeholders.
Their emergence was formally announced by the Convention Election Committee on Friday night, alongside other members of the National Working Committee (NWC), who will steer the affairs of the ruling party.
The convention attracted a strong presence of the party’s top hierarchy, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.
