A woman identified as Goodness has triggered widespread reactions online after emotionally admitting that ignoring her mother’s advice led to her current struggles as a single mother of two.
In a viral video shared on X, formerly Twitter, Goodness broke down in tears while reflecting on her younger years at the university, where she said she turned down several marriage proposals.
According to her, she believed she was too young, attractive and independent to settle down at the time.
She revealed that her mother repeatedly warned her against rejecting every suitor, advising her to consider marriage early, but she dismissed the counsel, insisting she could marry whenever she wanted.
Now, speaking through tears, Goodness said reality has humbled her, admitting she regrets not listening to her mother’s words.
She described her current situation as painful, saying she is now a single mother of two actively seeking a husband.
