Students of the College of Nursing Sciences, Aba campus, have expressed excitement following the restoration of electricity to their hostel by Alex Otti.
The development, which followed the governor’s earlier promise during a visit to the General Hospital, has brought relief to the students, who had endured prolonged power outages.
In a viral video, the students were seen celebrating and dancing, appreciating the swift intervention.
One of the students, speaking on behalf of others, commended the governor for fulfilling his commitment within a short time frame.
“His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti, we thank you for what you have done for us. The day you visited, you promised electricity within weeks, and you delivered,” the student said.
The gesture has attracted positive reactions, with many praising the governor’s responsiveness and commitment to improving welfare and infrastructure in Abia State’s educational institutions.
