Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has issued a stern warning to married men who pursue young women outside their marriages, stressing that such actions carry serious spiritual consequences.
During a recent sermon, the pastor cautioned that deceitful relationships with women could lead to public shame and divine punishment.
“If you take a woman to a hotel, you lie, meanwhile you are married, you will not come out from that hotel,” he warned, emphasising accountability for extramarital behaviour.
Bassey also addressed women, urging them to recognise married men and avoid greed or attention-seeking that could compromise their values.
“You know in your heart that he is married, but because of greed, because of attention, you want to carry bag. If you try it, you won’t survive it,” he added.
The sermon, widely shared on social media, has sparked debate, with viewers both supporting and questioning the pastor’s strict guidance on morality and relationships.
