A Nigerian pastor has expressed his frustration on social media after thieves reportedly broke into his church and stole several items, just as preparations were underway for a planned all-night vigil.
In a video shared on TikTok, the pastor revealed that the intruders took multiple speakers and an air conditioning fan that had been positioned near the altar.
The thieves also discovered and emptied the church’s fuel supply before leaving.The pastor lamented the impact of the theft, noting that it disrupted the night vigil and created an unexpected burden for the church.
“What has the church done to deserve this? Today was supposed to be my last Holy Ghost all-night service for the year. I came to check the sound system and pray, only to find the church broken into,” he said, visibly distressed.
The incident has sparked widespread attention online, drawing sympathy and concern from members of the community and social media users alike.
