United States President Donald Trump has issued a direct warning to Iran’s military and security forces, urging them to surrender their weapons or face deadly consequences as hostilities between Washington and Tehran continue to intensify.
Trump delivered the message on Thursday through a post on his Truth Social platform, amid ongoing military confrontations involving the United States, Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“It’s now time for you to drop your arms or face nothing but death,” Trump warned.
The warning comes as tensions in the region have sharply escalated following the outbreak of hostilities that began on Saturday, which reportedly resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Since then, the conflict has expanded with a series of military strikes targeting Iranian assets. Among the major developments, the United States is reported to have sunk an Iranian Navy vessel and launched several attacks aimed at weakening Iran’s military capabilities.
On Thursday, US forces also bombed an Iranian drone carrier ship as part of continued operations to degrade the Islamic Republic’s naval strength, while missile strikes against Iranian targets persisted.
Iran has, however, responded with retaliatory attacks targeting the United States and its regional ally, Israel, raising concerns about a widening confrontation in the Middle East.
