Shehu Sani, former senator, who represented Kaduna Central in the Senate, has congratulated Prof. Chris Piwuna on his emergence as the new President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Sani made this known on his X page on Monday.
He wrote, “Congratulations to the new ASUU President Prof Chris Piwuna. As a consultant Psychiatrist,the nation needs your services and leadership at this material time.“
Piwuna, who is also Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Jos, succeeds Victor Osodeke, a professor of soil science at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Umudike, Abia State.
