Nigerian singer Niniola has openly expressed her grief over the death of her husband, Michael Idika, questioning God’s decision to take the man she described as the person who made her life worth living.

In a series of emotional posts shared on her Instagram Story, the singer said God could have taken her kidney, arm, leg, or even her life instead of taking away her husband.

Niniola stated that she and her late husband lived peacefully and did not interfere with anyone, describing God as “jealous” for having the power to spare him but choosing not to. She further declared that she was ready for God to “finish what He started.”

The singer’s latest remarks come weeks after she announced the death of her husband of 13 years, revealing that God had taken him away from her.

Since then, she has repeatedly shared heartfelt tributes, describing him as her source of strength, her daily companion, and the man who loved her deeply.

Niniola continues to mourn publicly as she struggles to come to terms with the loss.
