Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed plans to begin acting as he expands his career into the movie industry.
Speaking in a recent interview with Vibe Q, the Unavailable crooner disclosed that he has already invested in two films as an executive producer and is preparing to take on acting roles in the future.
Davido also announced that he has completed work on a major documentary, which he described as “very, very big” and set for release soon. “I want to get into movies. I want to start acting soon. I have already invested in two movies as an executive producer. I also have a documentary coming,” he said.
The award-winning singer explained that his passion for creativity extends beyond music, noting that artists must continue evolving as the entertainment landscape changes.
According to him, music, like technology, is constantly developing with new sounds, fresh ideas and different ways for performers to tell their stories while remaining connected to their audiences.
