A Lagos-based content creator, Onyinyechi Nwachukwu, has raised fresh concerns over worsening conditions at the Ikorodu BRT Terminal, following the return of long commuter queues.
In a video shared online, Nwachukwu documented a large crowd waiting as early as 6:30 a.m., with only one bus reportedly available to transport passengers.
She questioned the sustainability of recent improvements, noting that additional buses seen earlier in the week appeared to have disappeared.
Expressing frustration, she wondered whether the temporary increase in buses was merely for show, as commuters were left stranded once again.
The situation has sparked reactions online, with many Lagos residents lamenting the recurring challenges within the Bus Rapid Transit system.
The system is managed by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, which has yet to respond publicly to the latest concerns.
