Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has earned praise online after announcing plans to sponsor a talented young Nigerian boy abroad using a $50,000 cash gift he recently received.
In an emotional Instagram video, he revealed that the money was donated by a benefactor who was impressed by his humanitarian efforts during a visit to China.
According to VeryDarkMan, the donation immediately reminded him of a young boy he had seen months earlier on Instagram.
The boy, whose page he initially skipped due to a busy schedule, later resurfaced through a repost by a friend.
He said the child had built a blender, power bank and projector from scratch, showcasing exceptional intelligence and creativity.
Moved by the boy’s abilities, VeryDarkMan said he contacted him and requested to speak with his parents.
He pledged to sponsor the boy’s education abroad to help nurture his talent, stressing that he would not allow such potential to be wasted.
The gesture has sparked widespread admiration on social media.
