Social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr Jollof, were involved in a physical altercation aboard a flight from Asaba to Lagos.
The incident came to light after Facebook user Dr Paul Ezikel shared a video of the confrontation on his page on Monday morning.

Both VDM and Mr Jollof have a history of online disputes, which escalated after VDM accused the comedian’s wife of being involved with internet fraudsters, leading to months of heated exchanges on social media.
VDM confirmed the mid-air fight in a post on his Facebook page, asserting that he got the upper hand.
He wrote, “I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite,” while sharing a video of the altercation.
