Nollywood actress and film producer, Regina Daniels, has expressed joy over the reconciliation of her long-estranged parents, describing it as a long-overdue moment of peace for her family.
The actress said their reunion represents the fulfilment of one of her deepest wishes and a sign that healing has finally begun within her home.
In a heartfelt Facebook post on Thursday, Daniels revealed that her parents, who had been at odds for years, decided to reunite solely for her happiness.
She wrote: “Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?”
The actress hinted that the reconciliation was unexpected yet deeply meaningful to her.
Daniels disclosed that her parents are presently in Abuja, where they are working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has reportedly been in detention for weeks.
Expressing frustration over the situation, she said, “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm. Since they want me!”
Speaking further, the actress paid glowing tribute to her parents, describing her father as “one of the biggest lawyers back in the day” and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as “a powerhouse who would do anything for her children.”
She noted that despite their differences in the past, both parents share a deep love for their family.
“This is all I actually ever wanted,” she added, expressing gratitude for what she called “a long-awaited family peace.”
Her post comes amid heightened public attention surrounding her troubled marriage with politician and businessman, Ned Nwoko.
Over recent months, the actress has been in the spotlight following reports of tension and alleged domestic abuse in her home.
In a viral video that surfaced in October, Daniels was seen in tears, saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Nwoko publicly denied the allegations of domestic violence, instead accusing Regina of drug and alcohol abuse.
Despite the ongoing controversy, Daniels has remained vocal about her determination to protect her children and rebuild her personal life.
She recently affirmed that she would “fight for her peace and dignity,” suggesting that she intends to maintain her independence even as her family seeks resolution.
Her latest post, celebrating her parents’ reunion, appears to signal a renewed sense of strength amid her personal trials.
