Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, describing it as a painful loss to the entertainment industry and his fans nationwide.

In a statement shared on X, Obi said he received the news with sadness, noting that the late actor was young, talented, and admired by millions across Nigeria and beyond.

He extended condolences to the actor’s family, colleagues in Nollywood, and supporters of young creatives, praying for strength and comfort for those left behind.
