Nigerian rapper and singer Speed Darlington has expressed regret over his single status, revealing that he has never been married and has no children despite approaching the age of 60.
In a post shared on his X page, the controversial entertainer admitted that whenever he meets a woman he likes, he questions whether he truly wants to continue living without a family.
According to him, although he possesses American residency documents, they do not compare to the fulfilment of having a wife and children. He stated that what he now desires most is family, freedom and respect.
The emotional disclosure comes despite his previous public efforts to find a life partner. Two years ago, Speed Darlington claimed he had found his wife and had earlier declared his preference to marry a virgin.
He also erected a signboard in his village listing the qualities he sought in a prospective wife, insisting he was serious about settling down.
