Dalla-Gin revealed that the funds were used to procure 171 bulls, 222 rams, 3,462 bags of 50-kilogramme rice, and 504 cartons of 25-litre groundnut oil, all of which were distributed to beneficiaries across the state.
He explained that recipients included the five blocs of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), senior Christian leaders, religious organizations, and vulnerable groups in various communities.
Highlighting the broader context, Dalla-Gin said the exercise underscores Governor Mohammed’s commitment to inclusiveness and religious harmony. He also noted that December salaries for workers had already been paid, alongside other support initiatives for Christian communities.
Commending the governor’s gesture, Dalla-Gin described it as a clear demonstration of responsive and inclusive governance.
He expressed confidence that Christian communities in Bauchi would continue to back the administration and stressed that the intervention would help ease the economic pressure on families during the festive season.
