The Janaza (funeral) prayer for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, both close associates of world heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua, has been slated for Sunday, January 4.

The remains of the two men were returned to the United Kingdom after a tragic road accident in Nigeria that claimed their lives.

The funeral prayer is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. at the London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.

Information on the burial arrangements was made public via an Instagram post by @aussiemammoth, who shared an image of the official funeral flyer.

The flyer confirmed that the Janaza prayer and funeral for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele would hold on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the London Central Mosque.

In a follow-up post, @aussiemammoth reaffirmed the arrangements, noting that the funeral details for “our brother Abdel Latif” had been placed on the mosque’s notice board and again confirming the 10:00 a.m. prayer time.

The fatal accident occurred on December 29, 2025, along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway at the Makun area of Ogun State.

Reports indicate that the Lexus SUV conveying Anthony Joshua was involved in a collision with a stationary truck.

Latif “Latz” Ayodele, Joshua’s trainer, and Sina Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach, died at the scene of the accident. Anthony Joshua reportedly sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Lagos for medical attention.
