Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder and head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Lagos, has weighed in on the ongoing political standoff between Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, warning that the governor stands little chance in a direct confrontation.
In a statement shared publicly, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church said Fubara would be defeated in any prolonged political battle with his predecessor, even if he enjoys the support of powerful political figures.

“Fubara cannot fight Wike. Even if all APC leaders support him, he will lose. You either humble yourself for Wike and let Wike do his wish and leave the rest for God. When you come back to this world, you’ll now become another Wike to many other persons. You don’t know what Fubara has done in his past life that he’s paying for now. You can’t fight him o. If you go beyond necessary, when you fall they’ll leave you,” Ayodele said.
