Social media commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has reacted to a viral alleged audio linked to him, criticizing presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga over his response to the controversy.
In a video shared online, the activist said he received several frantic calls while attending a business meeting after friends alerted him to a post made by the presidential aide.
Reacting to the development, Verydarkman accused members of President Bola Tinubu’s administration of paying attention to online controversies while serious security issues continue across the country.
He referenced the reported kidnapping of teachers and students in Oyo State, questioning why government officials had remained largely silent over the incident.
According to him, the focus on the viral audio appears to be a deliberate attempt to target and silence him instead of addressing urgent national concerns, including insecurity and abductions affecting innocent Nigerians.
