A Nigerian woman has stirred outrage online after a viral video allegedly showed her smoking cannabis rolled with pages torn from the Bible.
In the clip circulating on social media, the woman, dressed in a white hijab and colourful outfit, appeared unapologetic while responding to questions from the man filming her.
“I am very proud of what I’m using,” she declared after being confronted over the act.When asked if she was truly smoking the substance, the woman replied, “Yes, to pray,” further shocking viewers online.
The narrator in the video alleged that the woman had previously undergone rehabilitation after authorities reportedly took custody of her two children due to concerns about her mental health and behaviour.
According to him, she had shown improvement before allegedly relapsing into drug use.
He also claimed she recently caused a disturbance near a children’s school before being apprehended by concerned residents in the area.
