The has raised concern over the emotional and social pressures confronting many Nigerian boys, revealing that peer influence, fear of rejection and uncertainty about the future are affecting their decision-making.
Speaking during activities marking the , the foundation disclosed that findings from over 300 student responses showed many boys struggle with confidence, emotional resilience and the courage to resist harmful peer pressure.
Founder of the foundation, , said the issue goes beyond indiscipline, noting that many boys know right from wrong but often fail to act independently under pressure.
The report also revealed growing anxiety among students over university admission, career choices and financial stability, while several admitted they keep emotional struggles to themselves.
The foundation urged parents, schools and policymakers to prioritise mentorship, emotional intelligence and life-skills education for boys.
