A US lawmaker, Rep. Riley M. Moore, has defended President Donald Trump’s position on potential military action in Nigeria, insisting that China has no authority to dictate America’s foreign policy.
Responding to China’s criticism of Trump’s recent comments, Moore said the United States (US) would continue to stand up for persecuted Christians around the world, including in Nigeria.
“President Trump is absolutely right to defend our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering horrific persecution, and even martyrdom, for their faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Moore said.

He accused China of hypocrisy, describing it as a “Communist autocracy that recently arrested 30 Christian pastors for their faith and throws ethnic minorities in concentration camps.”
“China will not dictate our foreign policy to us, and we will not be lectured to by a Communist autocracy,” Moore declared, reaffirming America’s commitment to religious freedom and global human rights.
