President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has issued a stern warning to opposition figure Peter Obi, emphasising that the government will not ignore comments seen as endorsing potential U.S. military action in Nigeria.

Onanuga, writing on his X page, said: “wE shall never forget and forgive Peter Obi for supporting a foreign invasion of Nigeria.” He described Obi’s alleged remarks as inappropriate for a political leader.
